Chemistry serves as the blueprint for sustainable advancement. Established in 1909, the Italian Società Chimica Italiana (SCI; Italian Chemical Society) brings together more than 4,700 members from academia, research, industry, schools, and beyond, with a shared mission of promoting chemistry for cultural and economic growth, enhancing human well-being, and safeguarding the environment.
SCI is one of the 16 chemical societies that have joined forces to establish Chemistry Europe, collaborating to jointly publish 20 journals and the magazine ChemistryViews. The video gives a brief introduction to the work of the society and the values of chemistry as a whole.
