Held in conjunction with the U.N. Day of Women and Girls in Science, the goal of the GWB is to establish an active network of people of all genders to overcome the barriers to gender equality in science. The theme of #GWB2023 is “Breaking Barriers in Science”. Groups from all types of science organizations, such as high schools, science societies, universities, companies, governments, and non-governmental organizations, are invited to host events.

• GDCh’s Global Women’s Breakfast, hybrid 10:00 CET
  The GDCh will hold a hybrid event with the Egyptian National Committee for Pure and Applied Chemistry (NUPAC). Among others, career counsellor Doris Brenner will speak about self-marketing for women.

  Discussion about the leaky pipeline in science and much more
