The “Frühjahrssymposium” (German for spring symposium) is one of Europe’s biggest scientific conferences organized by young scientists for young scientists. It is held annually in spring and hosted by a different JCF regional board or a group of JCF regional boards every year. Along with plenary lectures given by worldwide renowned researchers, talks from young scientists from all over Europe play a central role in this three-day conference. Another highlight are the poster sessions with several hundred posters from chemistry and related scientific fields. The spring symposium is accompanied by an entertaining program providing plenty of opportunities to catch up with old friends and to make new ones. This conference presents a unique possibility for undergraduates and graduate students from Germany, Europe and overseas to present their work to a specialist audience.
