The event will bring together corrosion experts from universities, research centers and industries to examine the latest developments in corrosion resistant materials, corrosion research, corrosion monitoring, coatings, inhibitors, cathodic protection. It will be a forum for presentation and discussion of advances in understanding corrosion phenomena and progress in corrosion prevention.

Arne Dugstad
Chief Scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), Norway. His research focuses on CO₂ transport, corrosion in flexible pipelines, and CO₂ and H₂S corrosion in oil and gas systems. -
Nuria Espallargas
Professor at the Norwegian Tribology Center, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MTP), NTNU. She specializes in surface engineering, chemistry, and tribology, with recent work on tribocorrosion in offshore renewable energy systems. -
John J. Dunn
BS/MS in Metallurgical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. He had a 40-year career with Allegheny Ludlum/ATI, focusing on the development of new corrosion-resistant alloys. -
Vigdis Olden
Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF Industry in Trondheim, Norway. Her main field is hydrogen embrittlement of metallic materials, particularly in subsea infrastructure for natural gas transport. -
Mahad Nadeem Janjua
Data Science Specialist at Harbour Energy Norge, focusing on implementing data science and AI solutions within subsurface and exploration workstreams, with an emphasis on leveraging the latest generative AI technologies.
