Discussions Are Inherent to Science
Marina Rodnina, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, Germany, has received the Albrecht Kossel Prize from the GDCh for her work on protein biosynthesis and the structure and function of the ribosome.
We met Marina Rodnina at the GDCh office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, for this interview and talked about her fascination for the ribosome, the importance of in-person conferences and scientific discussions, Albrecht Kossel as a role model, and what she enjoys most about her job as a Director of a Max Planck Institute.
