Miranda Dalagianis, General Manager, Gesellschaft Österreichischer Chemiker (GÖCH, Austrian Chemical Society), explains why you should join a chemical society.

Miranda Dalagianis studied technical chemistry with a focus on biotechnology, biochemistry, and food chemistry at the Technical Unversity of Vienna, Austria. She completed part of her diploma thesis at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland. She spent a semester at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, and had a research internship at The Ohio State University, Columbus, USA. She held posts as a management assistant, a project manager, a research assistant, a technical translator, a sales representative, and a consultant, predominantly in the food industry. Dalagianis worked in controlling at REWE International AG, Vienna, from 2012 to 2018, followed by a post in finances at Österreichische Post AG, Vienna. Since April 2019, she serves as General Manager of GÖCH.
