Clariant inaugurated a new production unit for its industrial and consumer specialties (ICS) business unit at Coatzacoalcos, Mexico.

With an investment of over 20 million dollars and an extension of 4 ha, this new production unit will produce several chemical specialties and technological solutions for different markets, including personal care, crop protection, metalworking, construction and painting. The production of both finished products and intermediates will now be integrated in one place.

Mexico is a key player for Clariant’s operations in Latin America.
