Nagoya Silver Medal Special Issue

The Nagoya Silver Medal is part of a prestigious award series founded by Prof. Ryoji Noyori and Prof. Hisashi Yamamoto, and was established in 1999 to reward early-career Japanese synthetic organic chemists whose research achievements had a major impact on the field. The 11 Silver Medal winners from 1999 to 2009 represent true ambassadors of Japanese chemical research, the ‘crème de la crème’ of modern Japanese organic chemistry.

To celebrate the growth of this award series and as a tribute to the excellence of the awardees, The Chemical Record has published a Special Issue for the Nagoya Silver Medal. This issue includes an introduction by Editor-in-Chief Hisashi Yamamoto as well as Personal Account articles by top scientists such as Makoto Fujita, Eiichi Nakamura, Kyoko Nozaki, Keisuke Suzuki, and many more.
