How to Enter the Photo Competition

1. Picture Submission

• Contestants can submit one or more pictures.
• Submissions will be accepted from July 2, 2018 00:01 am GMT through September 3, 2018 00:00 pm GMT.
• Submission of a picture signifies agreement to the Terms of Use.
• The picture will be uploaded to ChemistryViews.org

2. Voting

• Use the voting box in the picture gallery to vote pictures.
• You are not required to submit a picture in order to vote or comment.
• All likes submitted by September 17, 2018 00:00 pm GMT will determine which picture wins the book prize for receiving most votes.

3. Judging

• Winners will be determined by the panel of judges listed below. They will select five from all submitted pictures after submission closed.
• Criteria for the jury are: i) creativity and original ideas, ii) quality of the picture

• Winning pictures will be announced online and will be featured in ChemViews Magazine. Winners will be notified by e-mail a few days in advance.

4. Prizes

The following winners will be selected:

3. Third to Fifth Prize (→ 1 ChemistryViews.org power bank)
4. Picture receiving most likes: Book prize: Molecules That Changed The World by K. C. Nicolaou and T. Montagnon

Winners will be notified by e-mail.

5. Terms and Conditions

• Participants of the competition agree to the Terms of Use.
• Entrants may only submit their own original works.
• Submissions will be accepted from July 2, 2018 00:01 am GMT through September 3, 2018 00:00 pm GMT.
• Wiley/Wiley-VCH employees and their family members may participate, but are ineligible to win.
• All submitted pictures are subject to approval and may not be accepted if they are found to be offensive or in violation of copyright. See “Acceptable Site Use” in Terms of Use.
• Wiley-VCH reserve the right to use submitted pictures on the ChemistryViews.org website, in the ChemViews Magazine, and in other promotions.
