In the Communications section, L. Yu et al. describe the synthesis of alternating donor–acceptor ladder molecules and their multiple charge-transfer pathways (see picture). J. Siegel et al. critique the Cahn-Ingold-Prelog concept of molecular chirality via indenocorannulene bowls. J. Orduna et al. succeeded in the synthesis of an organogold(III) difluoride with a trans arrangement.
