Angewandte Chemie 5/2017: Going Outdoors

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, W. Huang et al. review options to substitute A cations and X anions in perovskites for solar cells. How can new materials be designed rationally to improve stability for outdoor applications? In their Editorial, R. A. Lerner and S. Brenner discuss DNA-encoded compound libraries.

In the Communications section, V. Biju et al. show how exciton migration can be channeled into electron transfer in perovskite nanocrystal/fullerene composites (see picture). A. J. B. Watson et al. present a chemoselective Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling that occurs via kinetic transmetallation. B. D. Olsen et al. produced three-dimensional ordered antibody arrays through self-assembly of antibody–polymer conjugates, and H. Grützmacher et al. succeeded in the synthesis of the phosphorus analogue of cyanuric acid.
