AsiaNANO conference started in 2002 (Tokyo, Japan) and was held every two years in 2004 (Beijing, China), 2006 (Busan, Korea), 2008 (Biopolis, Singapore), 2010 (Tokyo, Japan), 2012 (Lijiang, China), 2014 (Jeju, Korea), 2016 (Sapporo, Japan), and 2018 (Qingdao, China).

It provides a communication stage for Asian scientists working in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology and to create effective networks among the Asian universities, institutions and companies and to promote inter-country and interdisciplinary collaborations.
