In this issue, M. Yang et al. review piezocatalytic techniques in environmental remediation. How can the piezoelectric effect be exploited to remove pollutants? The Minireviews deal with the modeling of radical (co)polymerization of multivinyl monomers (W. Wang et al.), noble metal recycling (T. Repo et al.), as well as control in micro-/nanomotor mobility (L. K. E. A. Abdelmohsen et al.).
In the original research section, W. Liu et al. map the complete photocycle that powers a large Stokes shift red fluorescent protein (see picture). I. P. Parkin et al. present a highly reversible zinc metal anode in a dilute aqueous electrolyte enabled by a pH buffer additive. P. S. Dittrich et al. demonstrate the continuous electroformation of gold nanoparticles in nanoliter droplet reactors, and U. H. F. Bunz et al. succeeded in the synthesis of azaarenes with 13 rings in a row by cyclopentannulation.
