In this issue, A. H. Hoveyda et al. review catalytic and stereoselective transformations with easily available allyl and alkenyl fluorides, and Y. Sun et al. discuss green carbon science and how to keep the pace in practice. The Minireview deals with the catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide to formaldehyde (K. Daasbjerg et al.). In a Correspondence, P. W. Manley et al. debate some recent results on allosteric and active-site inhibitors of ABL tyrosine kinase, and M. B. Soellner et al. reply.
In the original research section, C. Bonduelle et al. describe a memory effect in thermoresponsive proline-based polymers (see picture). A. Sinz et al. directly observed elongated conformational states in α-synuclein upon liquid–liquid phase separation. E. T. J. Nibbering et al. investigated the range from local covalent bonding to extended electric field interactions in proton hydration. G.-P. Wu et al. succeeded in the highly selective preparation and depolymerization of chemically recyclable poly(cyclopentene carbonate) with organoboron catalysts.
