Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, Xiong Wen (David) Lou et al. review carbon-supported metal electrocatalysts derived from metal–organic frameworks for energy-related reduction reactions. The Minireview deals with organolanthanide single-molecule magnets with heterocyclic ligands. Jieshan Qiu et al. highlight a breakthrough in CO2 electroreduction to multi-carbon products at ampere level through active-sites engineering.

In the original research section, Sabrina G. Reußwig and Clemens Richert describe the ribosome-free translation up to pentapeptides via template walk on RNA sequences (see picture). Jie Zhao et al. present amorphous FeSnOx nanosheets with hierarchical vacancies for room-temperature sodium–sulfur batteries. T. Leo Liu et al. succeeded in the nickel-catalyzed electrochemical cross-electrophile C(sp2)-C(sp3) coupling via a NiII aryl amido intermediate and Eva Hevia et al. report an alkene isomerization catalyzed by a superbasic sodium amide.
