In this issue, A. G. Orrillo and R. L. E. Furlan review sulfur in dynamic covalent chemistry. How can its versatility be exploited? The Minireview deals with enzyme catalysis for reversible deactivation radical polymerization (Z. An et al.). X.-Y. Hu and D.-S. Guo highlight work on superchaotropic boron clusters as membrane carriers for hydrophilic cargo.
In the original research section, M. Decker et al. enlighten readers on photomodulation of the 5-HT2A receptor by a light-controllable N,N-dimethyltryptamine derivative. Y. Chen et al. succeeded in the catalytic desymmetric dicarbofunctionalization of unactivated alkenes. K. Maeda et al. describe a well-controlled living polymerization of phenylacetylenes in water (see picture), and C.-Y. Su et al. present a rare flexible metal–organic framework based on a tailorable Mn8 cluster, which smartly responds to aromatic guests.
