Chemistry Europe hosted a reception at the ACS Spring 2024 Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS) in New Orleans, LA, USA. Founded in 1995, Chemistry Europe represents 16 chemical societies from 15 European countries that publish a range of high-quality scientific journals in various disciplines and the magazine ChemistryViews. Chemistry Europe’s mission is to promote scientific excellence, integrity, and collaboration, and to support researchers throughout their careers.
The reception provided an opportunity to learn more about Chemistry Europe and to meet journal editors. Participants included Dr. Haymo Ross, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Chemistry – A European Journal, Dr. Francesca Novara, Editor-in-Chief of ChemistryOpen and Chemistry – Methods, Dr. Rosalba Rincon Ovalles, Editor-in-Chief of ChemElectroChem and Batteries & Supercaps, and Dr. Leana Travaglini, Editor-in-Chief of ChemSusChem, as well as Dr. Lars C. Grabow, Editor-in-Chief of ChemistryEurope and Professor at the University of Houston, TX, USA.
Chemistry Europe has also just announced its Fellows Class 2022/2023 and launched a travel grant program.
