The event aims to provide an overview of the latest advances in the fields of biocatalysis and biotransformations, gathering innovative and interdisciplinary strategies to overcome scientific and technological hurdles. Various topics will be covered, such as enzyme discovery and design, reaction engineering, enzyme mechanisms, computational methods, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering (chemo)enzymatic cascades, and industrial biocatalysis. The event will offer an opportunity to meet experts from these different areas and exchange ideas between actors from the private and public sectors in a stimulating atmosphere
To highlight the event, a special collection in collaboration with ChemBioChem and ChemCatChem will be organized.
