In this issue, Z. Lei and F. Zhang review the molecular engineering of NIR-II-fluorophores for improved biomedical detection, and H. Huang et al. summarize photocatalysis enhancements by external fields. The Minireviews deal with halide double perovskites (H. I. Karunadasa et al.) and molecular-rotor-driven advanced porous materials (D. Zhao et al.).
In the original research section, Z. Ning et al. present low-dimensional inorganic tin perovskite solar cells prepared by templated growth (see picture). A. K. Yudin et al. succeeded in the synthesis of fluorinated aminoalkylboronic acids from amphoteric α-boryl aldehydes. M. Bao et al. describe interweaving visible-light and iron catalysis for nitrene formation and transformation with dioxazolones. L. Lu et al. created an all-in-one organic semiconductor for targeted photooxidation catalysis in hypoxic tumors.
