Prof. Matthias Drieß, Inorganic Chemistry, TU-Berlin, Germany, will be presented with the Alfred-Stock prize. He will receive the prize, along with 7.500 Euro at the Wöhler congress in Freiburg, Germany, on September 29th.
Matthias Drieß is being recognized for his exceptional research in the field of inorganic chemistry. His research interests include metalorganic chemistry, precursor synthesis, molecular models for heterogeneous catalysis, molecular main group and organometallic chemistry.
Drieß is Chair of UniCat, “Unifying Concepts in Catalysis”, which is a Cluster of Excellence funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) within the framework of the German Initiative for Excellence.
