Neste opens a new office in Düsseldorf, Germany. The office is located south of the city center in the historic Friedrichstadt area. The idea is that this office serves as the global hub for Neste’s renewable polymers and chemicals business unit. This business unit provides products made from biomass and chemically recycled plastic waste instead of crude oil.

The business unit and Neste’s operations in Germany will be headed by Mercedes Alonso (M.Sc. Chem). She joined Neste on September 1st, 2019, as Executive Vice President and a member of Neste Executive Committee.
