The Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation invites nominations for the international

HEINRICH WIELAND PRIZE 2013.

The

50,000 Euro

prize is awarded annually by an independent board of trustees to honour and recognize outstanding research on biologically active molecules and systems in the areas of chemistry, biochemistry and physiology as well as on their clinical impact. The prize is named after Heinrich Wieland, a Nobel Prize Laureate in chemistry, and presented every autumn in Munich, Germany. (www.heinrich-wieland-prize.de)

NOMINATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FEBRUARY 28, 2013

and include the following documents (in English):

1) in hard copy: laudation of no more than two pages summarizing the achievements of the candidate, CV and list of the five most relevant publications of the past 10 years,
2) on CD: bibliography and manuscripts of the five listed publications.
