Open Access articles can be published under different licenses

Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License: Creative Commons is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to making it easier for people to distribute, share, and re-use the work of others within the framework of national copyright laws. Depending on the journal, an author may publish an OA article under

• CC BY (Attribution) allows to share, remix, and make money when mentioning the author.
  
• CC BY NC (Attribution Non-Commercial) allows to share and remix when mentioning the author.
  
• CC BY NC ND (Attribution Non-Commercial Non-Derivs) allows to share when mentioning the author, keeping the same license, making no money, and don’t remixing.
